Welcome to the blog. I’m very glad that you stopped by to catch up on the campaign and share your thoughts!

This is the place where we will have an opportunity to update you on the very latest developments in the Oliver for U.S. Congress campaign.

We will be posting here regularly, so please be sure to check back often. We’ll be introducing you to the people and places we visit as we work our way across this district spreading my message of change and collaboration to find solutions to the issues that impact the people of Oklahoma the most – the economy, jobs, the energy crisis, healthcare, the elderly, education, and the care of our veterans.

But, we need your help. We have a lot of work ahead of us in order to raise the manpower and money it is going to take to declare victory over the incumbent, John Sullivan, who has been sitting quite comfortably for too long in his seat in Congress with no true progress to show to the people of District 1.

Every little bit helps. There is no gesture or token too small. We believe one person can make a difference in this election and we believe that person is you. United with hundreds and thousands like you, you can support our cause by choosing to put one of our signs in your yard, by hosting a fundraising event with your friends and co-workers for the campaign, or by agreeing to join our team of volunteers – we need your support and your vote on November 4, 2008. Everyone has a place in my campaign, and everyone will be heard and represented in Congress when I am elected.

I am in this race to win this race. All things are possible if we are united on the core issues and values, and are willing to work together to create the change we want to see in this country.

There are no limitations on what we can achieve together once we set our minds to it. We just have to decide to begin to change TODAY.
