Coweta Fall Festival Parade

The Oliver Team had a great time today in Coweta. We had an entry in the parade and handed out what felt like a ton of candy to kids, and even a few parents.

One of my favorite parts of any parade is always the time spent after everyone is all lined up, but the parade actually hasn't begun. It is a chance to catch up with old friends, and chat with all of the other participants.

Even though it got a little soggy later in the afternoon, we enjoyed visiting with vendors and people working booths downtown. We even took home a Patriotic Santa purchased in the Blue Star Mom's auction.

It really is great to see how well Coweta is doing, growing and expanding. Of course, it would help if they had a little more assistance from their member of Congress.
